Two Aberrant options, two different feels
Aberrant V1 is returning alongside Aberrant V2 so players can choose the fit and feel they actually prefer. V1 is the tighter-fitting option. V2 has a more relaxed finger fit. Neither version is automatically better for everyone—the better choice depends on how you want the sleeve to fit and feel during play.

One important distinction: finger fit and screen-contact grip are not the same thing. V1 fits more tightly around the finger. V2 feels less compressive around the finger while its darker, higher-carbon design is intended to create a more planted contact feel against the screen.

Aberrant V1: the original tighter fit returns
V1 uses 16-needle construction and has the tighter finger fit many Aberrant players asked to have back. It also has a pinker appearance and a cleaner, straighter-looking holding-thread finish. Choose V1 when a close, fitted feel around the finger matters most to you.
Aberrant V2: a more relaxed fit with a darker look
V2 uses 18-needle construction and fits more loosely around the finger than V1. It looks darker because the V2 design uses more carbon fiber. That higher-carbon direction is intended to provide a grippier screen-contact feel and longer wear. Actual grip and useful life can vary with finger size, screen or screen-protector setup, play frequency, care and washing, so we do not promise one fixed result or lifespan.
Which Aberrant is better for you?
- Choose V1 if you want the tighter finger fit, pinker look and cleaner thread finish.
- Choose V2 if you prefer a more relaxed finger fit, darker look and the higher-carbon design's intended contact and wear characteristics.
If your main concern is how tightly the sleeve hugs your finger, start with V1. If tight compression is uncomfortable and you prefer a darker, more relaxed sleeve, start with V2. Fit varies by finger size, so personal preference matters more than calling either version universally superior.

Players asked for the tighter V1 feel to return. Instead of forcing everyone into one construction, SXC is keeping V1 and V2 as two clearly labeled choices. That makes the trade-off simple: tighter V1 or more relaxed V2.
